Fall in Love Under the Stars
Did you know that Seminole Community College's Planetarium shows more than 30 productions per year for local residents? Until recently, I didn't even know the Planetarium existed.
Each Friday and Saturday evening you can experience one of the many different shows that the Planetarium offers on a rotating schedule. There are about a dozen unique presentations, such as Myths in the Night, a series about the myths and legends behind the constellations. Or perhaps you might be interested in The ‘Lightning Stalker'. This very popular planetarium show is about David O. Stillings, the "Lightning Stalker," and his world famous lightning photographer.
You can also take advantage of the free telescope viewings on the 1st Saturday of each month following the show (if the weather permits).
For information regarding current shows, call the SCC Planetarium at 407-708-2360.
