Well, I’m back after a two-month maternity leave. Marc and I welcomed our baby Elizabeth on September 29th. I now have a whole new respect for all you date nighters with kids! It’s a lot more difficult (but not impossible) to keep up with regular date nights.

Marc and I ventured out a few weeks ago for one of our first dates nights as new parents. We went to the Sarah Brightman concert at UCF and while we were there we discovered another great little date night opportunity… LIGHT UP UCF!
This free holiday event runs until January 2nd and features a holiday light show, an outdoor Holiday Film Festival, and a groovy skating rink spinning holiday songs and Top 40 hits. The light show begins daily at 6:30pm and films play on select dates at 7pm and 9:3pm. This weekend they are showing Miracle on 34th Street!
***If you’re planning on skating, bring along $10 per person (includes skate rental) and don’t forget to pack a pair of socks.
