Here’s a cheap and cheerful date that's perfect for Sunday morning getaways. Tucked inside DeLeon Springs State Park you'll find the Old Spanish Sugar Mill Grill & Griddle House. This DIY pancake house supplies its guests with pitchers of homemade pancake batter and then you do your own pouring and flipping on your personal table-top grill. Specialty toppings like bananas, peanut butter, pecans and apples are also available along with an assortment of breakfast favorites like sausage and eggs to accompany the delicious, fresh pancakes. Pancakes are $4.50 per person and the park entry fee is $5.00 per car.
