Foodie couples who love to advance their culinary skills together ought to check out Williams-Sonoma’s Cookbook Club, a monthly epicurean affair hosted at the Park Avenue store.
Led by W-S culinary experts, the event consists of a cooking class showcasing recipes from a different cookbook each month. Each 1½ – to 2-hour class features cooking tips and techniques and a three-course tasting menu from the book's best recipes, prepared while you watch.
The July selection is Ian Knauer’s cookbook The Farm, which features recipes designed to help you make the most of seasonal produce from your backyard garden, local farmer's market or CSA. This Cookbook Club event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 11th from 7pm – 9pm.
The class fee of $75 per person includes the cookbook with signed bookplate, plus participants receive a 10 percent discount on store purchases the day of the class.
