Chocolate date nightTalk about an aphrodisiac. Farris and Foster’s Famous Chocolate Factory, now with three locations across the city, hosts chocolate date nights every Friday at 7pm and 9pm. These fun and romantic events give budding chocolatiers the chance to whip up some yummy treats—like truffles, peanut butter cups, and chocolate dipped strawberries—while sipping their BYO wine.

Upon arrival, you’ll be given an apron, chef’s hat, and a brief chocolate-making lesson. Then you’ll be let loose in the factory to create the pound of chocolate you’ll be taking home with you (included in the $29 per couple fee). The whole experience takes about 90 minutes.

Farris and Foster’s is a great date night activity on its own or as the dessert after dining out. Maybe consider dinner at a nearby restaurant, such as Baldwin Park’s Seito Sushi, and then make a reservation at the chocolate factory for afterward.
