Arguably one of the most famous (and heart-wrenching) operas of all time, Puccini’s Madama Butterfly will be brought to life at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre on Friday, April 5 at 8pm and Sunday, April 7 at 2pm.

This Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra’s staged production tells the story of a beautiful young geisha as she sacrifices her family, her religion, and ultimately her life for an American naval officer, who takes her as his bride for convenience, with no intention of bringing her home to America. Sung in Italian with English supertitles.

Tickets range from $22 to $82, but you could win 2 tickets here.

HOW TO ENTER: CONTEST CLOSED. The winner is Emily Rogers. Congratulations!

All you need to do is leave a comment on this blog post that says “I want to win.” Facebook shares and tweets get extra entries. Just leave a comment back on the blog each time you have done either or both.

The winner will be chosen on Friday, March 29 using the random number generator at Random.org, and announced via Facebook and Twitter, as well as contacted by email.

Good luck!
