Now in its 23rd year, the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival returns May 14 to 27 with a collection of more than 600 ticketed performances plus 75 free shows on the outdoor stage. The longest running Fringe Festival in the United States, this unjuried and uncensored fete showcases the best of Orlando’s theatrical talent for 14 days of performances ranging from hilarious to dramatic to downright bizarre.

The Basics
– Performances are around 60-75 minutes each
– Venues are inside various buildings at Loch Haven Park
– Tickets are $11 (+ $1.25 fee) each, the mandatory one-time Fringe Button fee is $9 (+ $1.25 fee)
– 100% of all ticket sales go to the artists

Tickets
Start by sifting through the online schedule and selecting the performances that interest you. You’ll also need to purchase a Fringe button, which serves as your access to festival. All ticketed performances require both a button (which you purchase once and bring with you each time) and a performance ticket.

Ticket 10-Pack: New this year, you can now purchase a pack of 10 tickets and use it for any ticketed show during the Festival. The cost is $99 (+ $2 service fee) and includes 10 tickets to any show and a button. Only 200 are available. This is a fabulous options for couples interested in planning multiple Fringe date nights.

Food & Fun on the Green Lawn
Besides all the ticketed performances, Fringe features tons of FREE live entertainment, including live music, comedy and poetry, on stage on the Green Lawn, where you’ll also find  loads of grub from local eateries and food trucks. Vendors include the Fringe Beer Truck, Shadrack's Wood Fired Pizza, KJ's Mini Donuts and Kettle Corn.

Tips and Important Info
Whether you're a veteran Fringer or a newbie, it's always a good idea to brush up on some tips and ideas for having a great Fringe experience:

– Arrive 30-45 minutes early to find parking
– Have your fringe button with you every time
– Be on time… there is no late entry to Fringe performances
– Keep your button and tickets in a safe place; there are no refunds
– Bring cash for food and drink on the Green Lawn

Fringe Pub Crawl, May 13
The unofficial kick-off the Festival begins Tuesday, May 13th during the Fringe Pub Crawl from 7pm-midnight. This tour of Ivanhoe Village bars will begin at The Hammered Lamb where participants check in to get a wristband, “passport,” and their first drink.

Then, they’ll take a tour of the participating bars (Hideaway Bar, The Imperial, The Lucky Lure, The Matador, Santiago's Bodega, Savoy Orlando, The Thirsty Topher, & White Wolf Café) and finish off the evening with a Fringe open mic at the Venue.

Tickets are $10 in advance tickets sold until 5pm on day of event HERE or $15 at the event.
