Disney's first ever food truck event, “Trucks on the Town,” is slated to descend on Downtown Disney West Side this Saturday, June 21 from 5pm to 10pm. 14 trucks are set to create a feeding frenzy serving everything from tacos and empanadas to gator bites and barbecue.
Collaborating with The Daily City.com Food Truck Bazaar, the local trucks joining in the fete include:
- TJ’s Seafood Shack
- Magic 4 Ur Palate
- Yum Yum Cupcake Truck
- Ellie Lou’s Brews & BBQ
- La Empanada
- Philly’s Best Cheesesteaks
- El Cactus Azul
- Mayan Grill
- Med Fresh Taverna
There will also be four Downtown Disney food trucks in attendance, including the ESPN food truck, Namaste Café with fare from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as the Fantasy Fare truck, which boasts nosh from Magic Kingdom Park (think corn dogs and sticky chicken n’ waffles).
To add to the festive vibe, a live DJ will be spinnig tunes under the stars.
This event takes place at Downtown Disney West Side on the event lawn near House of Blues and Cirque du Soleil. Best parking is lots O, P and Q behind Cirque due Soleil, via entrance 5. No pets allowed.Parking is free.
