Last year was the first time Marc and I ever attended Cows ‘n Cabs and I left feeling like we had totally underestimated this annual Winter Park fete. It was far more fun and offered way more gourmet bites and sips than I could ever had imagined. This foodie fundraiser is back again this year and I am counting the days.
Curated by ABC Fine Wine & Spirits’ David Larue and Chef John Rivers of 4 Rivers Smokehouse and The COOP, Cows ‘n Cabs will transform Winter Park’s West Meadow into a giant, food-filled party on Saturday, October 25.
With a Western theme, fabulous live music and more than 200 wines, spirits and craft beers samplings, the fundraiser is one of the year’s best charity events.
One hundred percent of ticket sale proceeds and auction items will benefit the Community Food & Outreach Center and Elevate Orlando, which assists with fighting hunger and mentoring youth. The event is expected to double last year’s donation of $60,000.
A selection of gourmet samples will be presented by a group of 20 invite-only, local restaurants, including 4 Rivers Smokehouse, Norman’s, Cress and K Restaurant, The COOP, P is for Pie and Txokos Basque Kitchen.
General admission, all-inclusive tickets are priced at $110 and grant entrance from 7pm – 10pm. For $140, guests can purchase a VIP ticket and receive a one-hour sneak preview at 6pm.
