Celebrity Chef Cat Cora will host Pantry to Plate: A Chef’s Challenge on Thursday, September 18 at BB Kings Blues Club, Pointe Orlando.

This unique dining event will challenge four local chefs with preparing a gourmet four-course dinner using only ingredients found in JFS Orlando’s Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry.

Participating chefs are:

  • Kathleen Blake of The Rusty Spoon
  • Hari Pulapaka of Cress Restaurant
  • John Rivers of 4 Rivers Smokehouse and The COOP

In addition to the chef challenge, this interactive foodie affair will give attendees the chance to make cocktails, decorate cupcakes with 3-time Cupcake Wars winner Hollis Wilder, and vote for the most impressive appetizer and entrée.

Emceed by Celebrity Chef Cat Cora, the participating chefs will be judged on taste, presentation, and creativity. Some of the scores will be given by a panel of celebrity judges but a second award will be presented to the chef who receives the most votes from the event attendees.

Tickets are $125 per person or $1,000 for a table of ten. All proceeds from Pantry to Plate will go to support the mission of JFS Orlando and the many services offered to the community.
