tapas-style versions of main menu entrees

Local foodie folk-heroes James and Julie Petrakis are transforming Monday into “funday” at The Ravenous Pig with a new happy hour menu full of craft beers, snacks, cocktails and wine. Previously only open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, this much-loved Winter Park restaurant now invites locavores to unwind and pig out after work Monday through Saturday for happy hour, served from 4:30-5:30pm.

Chef owner James says the new menu features a tapas-style portions of main course entrees, perfect for sharing (or not). “The lamb slider is definitely going to be the favorite,” he says. “It's the burger we opened the restaurant with and it's back by popular demand. Only this version is small enough to actually finish.”

Launched June 15, The Ravenous Pig is now open every Monday from 4pm – 9:30pm for happy hour and dinner. Happy hour (served only at the bar) features $4 craft beers and a selection of snacks, wine and cocktails for $6 each from 4:30 to 5:30pm. For the complete happy hour menu, click here.

THE GRADE
Drinks: there's a huge selection, and not just wine and beer. RP offers 3 different $6 cocktails during happy hour
Food: fresh, inventive and seasonally sourced. This is not your average bar food!
Setting: the bar area gets super packed during happy hour, so if you like a scene, this place is for you.
Value: $6 drinks and amply sized bar bites make this a fabulous place to kick back for under $30 but you'll feel like every dollar was well spent.

We give The Ravenous Pig an overall grade of A+. The only thing that would make this happy hour better would be if less people knew about it.
