Orlando 4th of July Fireworks and Events Happening Thursday, July 4, 2024

1. Fireworks at the Fountain

When: July 4, 4-10pm (Fireworks at 9:10pm)
Where: Lake Eola Park
Cost: FREE

This year marks the 47th Annual Fireworks at the Fountain celebration in downtown Orlando at our city's iconic Lake Eola Park. The fun kicks off at 4pm with live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and food/drinks available for purchase from on-site vendors. You're allowed to bring picnic blankets, chairs, and a cooler filled with your favorite snacks and nonalcoholic drinks to enjoy. Dogs are welcome, too.

The epic fireworks display will begin at 9:10pm. The finale will include a dazzling display set to a patriotic performance from the Orlando Concert Band.

This event is FREE and open to the public.

2. Disney Fireworks

When: July 3 and July 4
Where: Magic Kingdom and Epcot
Cost: Included with theme park admission

Nightly fireworks displays at Magic Kingdom and Epcot are magical any time of year. But during 4th of July weekend, patriotic magic is added! You can catch the display at Magic Kingdom each night, or head to Epcot for the nightly show including fireworks, music and special lighting effects.

Make 4th of July in Orlando unforgettable with a Disney Fireworks Cruise. Cruises leave from Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort and chart a course to the International Gateway near World Showcase Lagoon for a celebration including fireworks, lasers and synchronized audio. There are also a few options in the Magic Kingdom resorts area.

3. Promenade at Sunset Walk Star Spangled Celebration

When: Thursday, July 4, 3-11pm
Where: Promenade at Sunset Walk (Margaritaville Resort Orlando)
Cost: FREE

Head to this walkable entertainment and shopping hub for some Independence Day celebrations. Prepare for a live music celebration with DFALC in concert, followed by the Sunset Walk Independence Fireworks Spectacular!

Entertainment will include Special guest DJ Scotty B. and the DFALC Guitar Army on the Main Stage, Bar Fly in concert with DJ Elie-Rok on the South Side Stage, and DJ Rick GZ on the Promenade Plaza Stage.

4. Monumental 4th of July in Kissimmee

When: July 4, 7-10pm (Fireworks at 10pm)
Where: Kissimmee Lakefront Park
Cost: FREE

For those living on the southern side of Orlando, take a short jaunt to Kissimmee Lakefront Park. The City of Kissimmee is hosting Monumental 4th of July, a booming firework spectacular on July 4 at 10:00pm.

5. Party in the Park & Fireworks

When: July 4, 6pm (Fireworks at 9:15pm)
Where: Downtown Winter Garden
Cost: FREE

Bring a chair, blanket, or have a seat in the grass for this annual Winter Garden tradition! Keep your eyes on the sky for one of the best firework displays in West Orange County. Live music, family activities, food, and more keep the evening fun for all ages!

Downtown Winter Garden is also decked out in patriotic decor. Parking is available at Health Central Park and Dillard Street Elementary. No personal fireworks nor alcohol is permitted. Bring a chair or blanket.

6. City of Clermont Red, White and Boom

When: July 4, 7-10pm
Where: Waterfront Park in Historic Downtown Clermont
Cost: FREE

Clermont's all-American waterfront fireworks celebration is a local favorite. This year's Red, White and Boom 4th of July event includes food trucks, live music, and ending with fireworks. The fireworks are a dazzling display over Lake Minneola. Additional viewing is available at Victory Pointe.

Pack a blanket to enjoy this free fireworks display. Consider arriving early to explore downtown Clermont, including new hotspots along Montrose Street.

Alternatively, Winter Garden is nearby with its own fireworks over Lake Apopka.

7. Star Spangled Sanford

When: Thursday, July 4, 7pm – 10pm
Where: Riverwalk / Fort Mellon Park area
Cost: FREE

Plan a full day in Sanford strolling the streets to visit your favorite local restaurants and breweries followed by evening fireworks. The sparks will fly over Lake Monroe just after sunset. The show will be set to music and will last for about 20 minutes. Make sure to pack blankets and chairs for comfy viewing along the water. There's a Star Spangled Sanford Kids' Zone too!

8. 4th of July Fireworks at Orlando Resorts

Want to go all out with a long weekend getaway? Several Orlando resorts host fabulous 4th of July fireworks displays that are exclusive to resort guests.

Or, book a swanky weekend staycation at Grande Lakes Orlando, home to JW Marriott Orlando and The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. The weekend culminates in a fireworks display for overnight guests on Thursday, July 4 at 9pm. And there are fireworks every Saturday Memorial Day through Labor Day.

9. SeaWorld Orlando

When: July 1 – 4, 2024
Where: SeaWorld Orlando
Cost: Included with theme park admission; reserved seating for fireworks and parking additional

Dive into ocean depths this Independence Day at SeaWorld Orlando, which was voted #1 Best Theme Park in North America by USA Today 10Best. Celebrate Independence Day with four nights of fireworks this Fourth of July weekend with festivities, weather permitting. All nights will feature fireworks.

Reserve your seating to witness this one-of-a-kind display and engage in Electric Ocean, a nighttime event full of lights, music, sea creatures and DJ entertainment. The fireworks display is included with regular park admission.

The nightly fireworks showtime is usually 9:30pm, but exact showtimes for 4th of July have not been published. Fireworks can be viewed from the Orca Encounter Pathway, The Waterfront, and Bayside Stadium. The latter provides the best view, and reserved seating can be purchased at the park for $24.99, or a viewing experience on the SkyTower is also available. Park admission and parking are additional.

10. Red Hot & Boom at Cranes Roost Park

This infamous celebration takes place on July 3 in Uptown Altamonte’s Cranes Roost Park. The City partners with XL106.7 to bring a groovin’ good time during this legendary event. Food vendors are scattered around Cranes Roost Lake to keep grumbling bellies at bay.

The event kicks kicks off at 5pm and ends with a 25-minute firework feast for the eyes. The event will go on rain or shine! Parking can be tough so consider a rideshare service or taxi. Dress comfortable, and remember to hydrate.

NEW FOR 2024: Red Hot & Boom Beer Garden

Vibe out and relax while enjoying a variety of beer options, including locally brewed craft beer, wine, and spirits. $50 admission includes a free beer or wine, private area access in the Cranes Roost Park Plaza from 5 to 10 p.m., covered and open seating, TVs to view the show, and yard games. Additional drinks and food are available for purchase. Open to ages 21 and up. IDs are required. Space is limited.

Head to Eatonville on the 3rd of July as they celebrate with food trucks, bouncy houses, live entertainment, and vendors leading up to a professional fireworks display at dusk. The celebration is held in the field behind Eatonville Elementary and Eatonville Middle Schools. Activities begin at 5:30pm. Fireworks show begins at dark.

MetroWest MusicWORKS
Wednesday, July 3, 6-10pm
MetroWest Golf Club
Live entertainment at MusicWORKS will include The Flutie Brothers Band featuring football legends Doug Flutie and Darren Flutie and featuring special guests saxophonist Mike MacArthur and guitar legend Pat Travers. Stella Beat, an energetic Latin/Top 40 party band based in Orlando, will open the show. Team Fastrax, the largest professional skydiving team in the world, will dive into the event with a 2,000-square-foot American flag. Starting at 9:30 p.m., the 20-minute fireworks show at the end of MusicWORKS will be staged by Pyro Shows.

Baldwin Park Independence Bash
Wednesday, July 3, 6-10pm
New Broad St, Baldwin Park
This annual event presented by Orlando Health, will take place from 6pm – 10pm on July 3 with a 15-minute fireworks show at 9:15. There will be music, dancing, a beer garden, food trucks, balloon artists, face painters and plenty of photo ops!

A Fourth of July celebration isn’t complete without games to play outdoors! All holiday weekend long Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will host several outdoor activities. Try your swing at mini golf, aim for the win in corn hole, and get four in a row in one of our large party towers. All activities will take place rain or shine and are included with admission.

Celebration’s Independence Day Spectacular

The celebratory activities kick off at 9 a.m. with the annual Independence Day parade. The route starts at Town Hall, traverses up Celebration Avenue, down Market Street, and ends near Lakeside Park.  Following the parade, the star-spangled festivities continue at 5 pm. on and around Market and Front Streets, as many of Celebration’s dining establishments will be vending some of their more popular items. At 6:30 .m., it is time to get your groove on with Audio Exchange, an award-winning party and event band performing 70s to current Top 40, rock, pop, R&B, and country. As the sun sets and anticipation builds, grab a spot with your loved ones and get ready to witness a fireworks display like no other. Following Audio Exchange’s performance, a breathtaking pyrotechnic display will illuminate the sky over Lake Rianhard.

Downtown Avalon Park Fourth of July Festival

Enjoy a host of thrilling attractions, from a wet/dry bounce park and a bike parade to special performances and an apple pie bake-off. Stay around, as festivities will continue throughout the evening. The night will be filled with community performances, a wet/dry bounce park, food trucks, vendors, and music. Restaurant, retail, and service businesses will also be offering specials and deals throughout the evening. Finishing off an exciting day, the festivities will be concluded with a magnificent fireworks display over Avalon Lake at 9pm.

You won't want to miss the annual 4th of July Celebration at the St. Cloud Lakefront. They'll have an All-American Car Show from 5-8 p.m., a Kids Bike Parade at 6:30, food trucks, kids zone, games and prizes, and live music with the Derek Mack Band. The evening will culminate in a fireworks show starting at 9:15.

This year’s event will feature live entertainment on two stages, Food Trucks, family-friendly activities, a Kid Zone Courtesy of Grace Baptist Church and a State of the Art Fireworks and Laser Light Show choreographed to music.  All coordinated activities and vendors will shut down by 9:00 pm.  The Fireworks and Laser light show will begin at approximately 9:15 pm.  After the fireworks show; Stage entertainment will continue until 10:30 pm.

Bonus – Universal Orlando 4th of July

Universal Orlando Resort will feature special entertainment at Universal Studios Florida on July 4 to celebrate Independence Day, including a high-energy band, live DJ, meet & greets with Universal’s most popular characters, and patriotic-themed performers and stilt walkers.

The festivities will kick off at 6:15 p.m. at the Music Plaza Stage and the party doesn’t stop until the park closes. Entertainment at the Music Plaza Stage will include a live DJ and meet and greets with fan-favorite characters and roaming patriotic stiltwalkers. And at 10 p.m., guests can enjoy a festive pyrotechnic display over the Universal Studios Florida lagoon to cap off the celebration.
