Passion Fruit Spoon

Orlando now has a new way for you to experience all the flavors of the downtown food scene all in one whirlwind tour. Offered by the Downtown Orlando Partnership and approved by Mayor Buddy Dyer, the new Saturday Downtown Food Tours take participants on a walking tour of the Central Business District, visiting some of downtown’s local favorites and sampling everything from oysters to crab cakes to coffee.

Taking place every Saturday from 2 to 4pm, the tours showcase the diversity of cuisines found in Orlando as well as the rich history of some of downtown’s most iconic locations and buildings. Restaurant partners include Artisan’s Table, Avenue Gastrobar, Ferg’s Depot, The Golden Knife, Le Gourmet Break and Waitiki.

Guests will visit five to six restaurants in the Central Business District, all of which are locally owned and vary in specialty and cuisine styles. For a current list of participating partners, visit the Food Tour page.

Tours are designed to introduce guests to some unique and notable tasting-sized food items in the downtown core. All tastings are included in the cost of the tour; beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) are not included in the ticket price but guests will be able to purchase them at various stops.

The distance walked during the Food Tour is roughly one mile. The pace is casual, but be prepared to be on your feet for roughly 2 hours.

Guests are encouraged to come back again and again as the participating restaurants will change and the culinary offerings will update as various months/seasons are “themed” by the partner establishments.

A local art and galleries tour can now be booked for $20 per person. Plans for a historical tour are in the works.
