On Wednesday, August 19, Enzian Theater will screen 500 Days of Summer, a postmodern love story with a funny “anti-romantic” vibe. Set in Los Angeles and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel, this boy meets girl comedy tells the story of Tom, a would-be architect in a lackluster career. Then Summer comes along and turns his world upside down.
This is one of our favorite date night movies, which is why we've sponsored the film as part of Enzian's Wednesday Night Pitcher Show series. Once or twice each month, Enzian does a free movie screening outside on the lawn complete with happy hour drink specials and Jell-O shot trivia.
