As part of its Catering for Good Program, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is hosting Chef’s Night on Thursday, August 27.
The Chef’s Night series brings local top chefs into Second Harvest’s Community Kitchen to celebrate delicious food and raise money for a good cause.
This month's chef is Scott Hunnel, a multiple James Beard award nominee and Chef de Cuisine at Victoria & Albert's, Central Florida’s only AAA Five-Diamond status restaurant and the no. 1 rated restaurant in Orlando by the Zagat Guide.
Joined by Master Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek, also of Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Hunnel will create a four-course feast for guests to savor.
All proceeds benefit Second Harvest’s Culinary Training Program, which provides students with the skills and inspiration they need to obtain an entry-level position in a food service establishment.
