On Saturday, January 16, 2016 we hosted our 4th SOLD OUT Do Good Date Night, this time partnering with Goodwill Industries of Central Florida to support its BookWorks program.
Goodwill’s BookWorks program brings together volunteer readers and children from low-income households to promote childhood literacy. Volunteers read to preschool children and then present each child with a book of their own to take home.
We spent an hour sorting over 7,000 books!
Following this service project, we enjoyed stellar light bites from Taverna Opa and trivia hosted by Curtis Earth!!
A big thanks to Dr. Clark and the Orlando Aesthetic Institute for being our match sponsor for this event, which translated into an $846 donation to Goodwill Industries of Central Florida.
