Ladies, you asked for it and we’re delivering! Spending time with your favorite girls is just as important as prioritizing time with your partner, so we’re launching a new series dedicated to girls’ night out in Orlando. Check out our list of girls’ night approved activities then hit the town while bonding with your favorite ladies.
1. Take a local cooking class
The list of local cooking classes grows each season, but some of our favorites are Truffles & Trifles, Tapa Toro, and Publix. Laugh, learn, and eat your creations during this fun night out.
2. Brunch then boat tour
Park Avenue in Winter Park practically screams girls’ day (and night). Visit on the weekend for brunch (Briarpatch and The Parkview are great options), indulge in a little retail therapy, and then cruise along the Winter Park Chain of Lakes in a pontoon boat on the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour.
3. Audubon Park food tour
The newly launched Audubon Park Food Tour explores the garden district with six tasting stops along the way. Alcohol is included, along with plenty of cheese, ice cream, and more delicious surprises.
4. Wekiva Island River Banas
For the ultimate girls’ day, rent a private river bana from Wekiva Island and soak up the sun. You can bring your own food and drink, but alcohol is permitted only if purchased at the on site bar, The Tooting Otter.
5. Disney Springs pub-crawl
Disney Springs is home to numerous bars and restaurants, all with their own unique flair. Start with a sunset cocktail on the rooftop lounge at Paddlefish, which offers a great vantage point. Next, sit down for dinner at STK and finish off the evening with drinks, live music, and Irish dancing performances at Raglan Road. Read our full guide to a Disney Springs pub-crawl for more ideas.
6. Hamburger Mary’s Dining with the Divas
Enjoy dinner and a show – diva style – at Hamburger Mary’s in downtown Orlando every Friday night. The show begins at 8:30pm, but get there at 7:30pm when seating begins.
7. Wine down
Sip the night away at one of our unique local wine bars and wineries in Orlando. The Wine Room in Winter Park, Quantum Leap Winery (which has new extended hours!), and The Imperial are a few of our favorites.
8. Wondermade marshmallow workshop
Create your own marshmallows, tour the kitchen, and participate in a Q&A during this fun monthly workshop at Wondermade. Tickets are only $15/person.
9. Drinkable Arts
Why drink out of any old wine glass when you can paint a unique one of your own? Create your own wine glass masterpiece during this fun spin on the traditional paint night. Classes take place all around town, so take a look at the schedule here and get planning.
10. Escape Rooms
If you’re in need of some serious bonding, rally the troops and put your thinking caps on while you work together to escape a locked room using clues and brainpower. Games vary in difficulty levels and themes – check out our guide here.
11. The Main Event
This relatively new addition to Pointe Orlando is an entertainment complex complete with interactive games, bowling, a ropes course, virtual reality, pool tables, and an impressive dinner and cocktail menu.
