Each year a wide array of performers take the stage, dazzling audiences with their spectacular talents. There are dozens of exciting shows coming to Dr. Phillips Center in the next few months. Jazz For Lovers

February 14-16, 2019
The Jazz Orchestra at the Dr. Phillips Center is teaming up with famed vocalist Sachal Vasandani to showcase the legendary music of Nat King Cole. Vasandani is one of the most renowned artists today, and he is particularly praised for his Nat King Cole tribute. This show, appropriately called Jazz for Lovers, will make for the perfect romantic evening, ideal for a Valentine's Day celebration with your love.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater

February 19, 2019
The Ailey dance company has performed for over 20 million people in 48 states, 71 countries, and six continents. What we know and love today stemmed from one performance in March of 1958 at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, led by Alvin Ailey himself and a group of African-American dancers–a performance that changed the American perception of dance forever. This is a hugely important cultural show that is not to be missed.

Dancing With The Stars: Live–A Night to Remember will feature your favorite dancers and troupes performing every style from jazz to hip-hop. PechaKucha Night Orlando v25

The name PechaKucha comes from the Japanese word for “chitchat.” It's an exciting and unique event where speakers deliver concise and rapid presentations via the format of 20 images x 20 seconds. There's also an opportunity for audience members to participate in the fun at the end. Shen Yun

March 13-17, 2019

Shen Yun depicts ancient and modern Chinese culture through a beautiful spectacle of classical Chinese dance. The dancers are accompanied by the Shen Yun orchestra. Magnificent, animated backdrops interact with the stage to wow audiences and transport them to a completely different place and time.
