Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild

The spirit of the holiday season comes alive during Stetson University School of Music’s Christmas Candlelight concerts at Lee Chapel in Elizabeth Hall and First United Methodist Church of Orlando. The four Christmas Candlelight concerts will be held Dec. 4-6, 7:30 p.m. at Lee Chapel in Elizabeth Hall, 421 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand, 32723 and Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Orlando, 142 E. Jackson St., Orlando, 32801. All seating is general admission.

41st Annual Christmas in the Park
Thursday, December 5, 6:15pm-8:30pm
Central Park, Winter Park
Nine century-old Tiffany leaded-glass windows are lighted to kick off the event, then Central Park is transformed into a luminous concert hall for the 160-voice Bach Festival Society Choir. The choral performance concludes about 8 p.m., and the windows remain lighted for viewing until 8:30 p.m.

1st Thursdays: Art to Live With

Orlando Museum of Art
On the first Thursday of each month, Central Florida has an opportunity to discover local artists, listen to live music, and mingle with an eclectic mix of people. There are cash bars serving wine, beer, soft drinks and water, and café offerings from area restaurants.

Girl’s Club Presented by – Holiday Edition

Secret location
Our next Girl’s Club presented by event is taking place on Tuesday, December 10, from 7:30-9:30pm in the downtown area. We won’t be serving food at this event, but we’re starting later (7:30pm) to give you the time to dine at one of the dozens of restaurants nearby AND we’re keeping costs down with this one, since we know the holidays are such a wallet suck.
$5 to reserve spot, then at each event, you’ll pay no more than $20-30 (+tax/tip) for the night’s food/drink package.

Orlando Story Club: Homecoming

Holiday on the Drive is a free community event celebrating the holiday season and is College Park Main Street’s gift to the community.
