SPONSORED — Want to change up your usual happy hour routine? Trade your seat at the bar for a night of beer, wine, snacks and crafting at Maitland Art Center's new adults-only Handmade Happy Hour series. It's perfect for date night, girls' night out, or even a solo venture to unleash your inner creative genius.

Each event features a different artistic medium and kicks off with a guided tour of the Maitland Art Center to help get those creative juices flowing. After the tour, you'll create your own masterpiece under the guidance of an instructor. While you work, you'll nosh on complimentary light bites. There will also be a cash bar serving beer and wine so you can sip and create.

The fun kicks off Friday, February 7 from 6-8pm with An Evening of Weaving. You'll be supplied with everything you need to create a framed, ready to hang hand-woven landscape or abstract piece.

Future Handmade Happy Hour dates are as follows:

  • May 8, 2020
  • August 14, 2020
