Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic Reimagined as Staycation Package

Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic Reimagined as Staycation Package

We look forward to the annual Food & Wine Classic hosted at the sprawling Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort each October. While typically a weekend foodie event drawing a large crowd, this year’s festival has been totally reimagined as a limited capacity staycation package with food and wine themed perks. Event-only tickets are also available select nights.

Sip, Savor and Stay Saturdays: A New Twist on the Food & Wine Classic Experience features a new food or drink themed event select weekend nights from September 19 – October 30, 2020. And, on October 17 and October 30, couples can enjoy a special edition of the Food & Wine Classic experience. Capacity for each event is limited and exclusive to guests who have purchased event tickets or the one-night staycation package.

Travel with your tastebuds to Italy with wines and light bites, partake in Oktoberfest without leaving Orlando, or join a champagne tasting experience featuring bubbly from all over the globe. There will also be a themed food truck pop-up each Saturday at the resort pool.

Events will be hosted indoors and limited to 100 guests with the exception of the October 17 & 30 Food & Wine Classic limited experience, which is limited to 200 and will be hosted in a larger space. You’ll have a reserved, socially-distanced table for the event.

Packages begin at $295 and include a one-night stay and admission for two to the corresponding Saturday event. Single event tickets are $75 – $110/person depending on the event.

SAFETY MEASURES

All events will be indoors and limited to 100 participants, except for the Food & Wine Classic: Limited Edition experience which will be limited to 200 participants in a larger space.

Safety protocols implemented include: temperature check at entrance for all attendees, plexiglass walls for all food service, all cast members wearing PPE, touchless menus and clearly marked social distancing signage. Additionally, each group will receive their own socially distanced reserved table for the event.

We attended the October 17 Limited Edition Food & Wine Classic and had a great time trying the food samples, sipping unlimited beer and wine samples, and dancing to the live music from our table. We were pleased to see the event spread out into several ballrooms, all staff wearing masks, plexiglass installed at all food stations, plenty of social distancing signage and more. Getting to enjoy the resort amenities like the pool, corn hole and swan boats was an added bonus.
