Primrose Lanes Orlando

Colonial Lanes has been reborn as Primrose Lanes Restaurant and Bowling Club. Drink, dine, and bowl with lanes of fun, plus a dining space helmed by some familiar names from Orlando’s culinary scene. Chef Nick Grecco (Cask & Larder, Black Bean Deli) developed the menu, and you can get your cocktail fix at the bar overlooking the lanes.

Arcade Monsters

If you're near Seminole County, don't miss Arcade Monsters in Oviedo and Lake Mary – it's huge and has a small bar with drinks and snacks. Stadium Club has awesome, chef-driven food (not your typical sports bar fare), delicious cocktails, and mocktails plus an incredible atmosphere. ICEBAR Orlando

ICEBAR is, as its name states, a bar made out of ice with a below-freezing theme. You get a parka-like jacket to wear inside, and your drinks come in ice glasses. Once you are good and frozen you can visit the adjacent Fire Lounge and warm up with themed cocktails and dancing. There is a cover charge that includes your jacket and time in the ICEBAR, but you can experience the Fire Lounge without the cover charge.

Dezerland Park Orlando

Dezerland Park is a huge indoor space with go-karting, bowling, arcade games, axe throwing, and glow-in-the-dark mini-golf at Putting Edge. With over 20+ thrilling indoor attractions, experience the excitement at the longest indoor karting track in Florida, dive into the thrill of the largest pinball arcade in the state, and immerse yourself in one of the world’s most extensive car collections in the world at the Orlando Auto Museum.

Toxic Blast is a one-of-a-kind experience recently added at Dezerland Park. Guests gear up with a state-of-the-art gel blaster, a hopper full of “gellets” and colored masks and enter an interactive, black-light arena for a 45-minute battle against their friends and families. And don’t worry about stained clothes. The environmentally friendly “gellets” won’t leave a permanent mark since they turn to powder when dry.

If you have the kiddos with you, kids can play (5 and up) in the smaller kid zone area made especially for them.

Main Event Orlando

Main Event Orlando is a sprawling entertainment complex that is just one of many ways to spend date night at Pointe Orlando on International Drive. While you'll have to make a run for it getting from the parking garage to the indoor game hub, an array of fun games await once you've made it indoors. Bowling, virtual reality, games, and a ropes course are just a few fun adventures to choose from.

Main Event Entertainment Center

GameTime Kissimmee

GameTime offers a Mega Arcade with a full-service restaurant and sports bar. GameTime’s Mega Arcade has over 100 new and retro arcade games, prize machines, and other interactive games! At GameTime Kissimmee, you can play and eat in style! Their extensive menu includes a wide selection of appetizers, entrees, kid’s meals, healthy salads, and sports bar options like wings and build-your-own burgers.

The Kissimmee location is part of Sunset Walk at Margaritaville Orlando Resort, and there are other locations around Central Florida like Ocoee and Daytona Beach.

Keg Social

For the most adult indoor entertainment experience, head towards UCF for The Keg Social. This place is great for late nights packed with axe-throwing, bowling, VIP Karaoke, billiards, ping-pong, retro games, plus food, drink, and an outdoor patio. They have four themed bars, including craft cocktails made with house-made syrups, 50 craft beers on tap, seasonal drafts and cans, and their upstairs Flo Bar dedicated to craft beers and spirits originating from Florida.

Elev8 Sanford

With two floors packed with indoor fun, plus two bars, and a full restaurant, you could easily spend an entire afternoon at Elev8 Sanford. The ropes course and bowling lanes will most likely capture your attention right away. A bar is near the entrance if you're ready to raise a glass to a fun indoor date.

The restaurant is very casual and certainly not for high-end dining, but don't skip out on an appetizer, flatbread, or burger to keep the fun going. The upstairs arcade is loud, colorful, and full of the latest exciting games, plus larger-than-life Connect Four, Pac-Man, and other classics.

Downstairs is a great vibe for date night. It is a little more adult-focused thanks to the Rewind Arcade full of retro games. The downstairs bar overlooks the retro arcade and the go-karts making for a fun spot to hang out and enjoy the view.

Putting Edge Indoor Mini Golf

Putting Edge is an 18-hole indoor mini-golf course lit completely by black lights. Put on your favorite white t-shirt and have a friendly competition. Plus, Putting Edge is part of Dezerland Park Orlando which bills itself as Florida's largest indoor attraction.

Battleground Orlando Lazer Tag

Remember elementary school birthday parties spent roller skating and playing laser tag? Enjoy a heavy dose of nostalgia while playing a game of laser tag, grown-up style. They have real all-terrain combat fields so, … you may get dirty. This is the closest to real combat you can get. They have Indoor and Outdoor courses with grass, sand, trenches, woods, sometimes mud, urban structures, etc. So leave your Gucci purses and designer shoes at home and prepare for battle!

Orlando Science Center

The Orlando Science Center is just as fun for adults as it is for kids. Inside you'll find exhibits focused on nature, dinosaurs, planet Earth, and more. Live science demonstrations take place on most days, but check the schedule on the day of your visit to confirm. Listen for news on upcoming seasonal Science Night Live events; these are themed evenings exclusively for adults 21 and over.

Sea Life Aquarium

Located at ICON Park, the Sea Life Aquarium is surprisingly enjoyable and larger in size than it appears from the outside. Walk through an ocean tunnel, spot sharks and sea turtles, or catch one of the daily dive shows. If you purchase tickets online look for a Florida Resident discount.

For an epic date idea, book the Behind the Scenes Tour which is a 30-minute experience. You'll get to see a day in the life of an aquarist. It is just $10 and you'll get to visit multiple areas that are not part of the normal Sea Life experience. My husband and I were invited to do this tour with our son, which exceeded our expectations. Get a view of the ocean tanks by walking above the surface at the Ocean Overlook. And wrap up the tour by feeding some fish.

Orlando Sea Life Aquarium

Orange County Regional History Center

Spend the afternoon learning about Central Florida's history with exhibits exploring aviation, African-American history, our natural environment, theme parks, and more. The History Center includes a museum in a historic courthouse, the collection of the Historical Society of Central Florida, the Joseph L. Brechner Research Library, the Emporium Gift Shop, and Heritage Square park. It advances its mission through wide-ranging programs, permanent and traveling exhibits, and limited-run exhibitions from other prestigious institutions. Admission is $8. On the Third Thursday of each month, they offer free admission from 6 to 8 p.m.

Orlando Museum of Art

Orlando Museum of Art is Orlando’s flagship museum and a leading provider of visual art education and experiences in a four-county region. Annually, the museum presents about a dozen exhibitions consisting of special and visiting exhibitions, as well as ones curated from the museum’s collections.

Launching on January 18, 2024, during OMA's centennial year, Access for All at OMA is a monthly free day dedicated to the community. On the third Thursday of each month, we'll extend our hours from 10 AM to 8 PM, offering free admission to all visitors. Each event will feature live performances, educational experiences, and more! Sketching materials will be available to visitors between 5 pm and 7 pm, and a docent-led highlights tour will be held at 7 pm.

Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art

Nothing comforts quite like an art museum on a rainy day, or an afternoon when you just want to escape for a while. Hiding in plain sight on a quieter corner of Park Avenue in Winter Park is The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. The Morse Museum is a hidden gem in Winter Park home to the most comprehensive collection anywhere of Louis Comfort Tiffany glass. Inside, find a collection of jewelry, lamps, sculptures, and American art in addition to a full chapel interior with its own private viewing room.
