The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and to kick things off the 1,500-acre resort has planned a bevy of festivities during the 30th Anniversary Weekend, January 31 – February 2, 2014.
To begin with, Hemingway's will feature a Grand Three-Course Dinner on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1, featuring retro items from the resort’s 1984 menus. Cost is just $84 per couple and menu highlights include: Coconut Shrimp, Lobster Crusted Sea Bass, and Baked Alaska Style Key Lime Pie. Hemmingway’s is open for dinner at 6 p.m. nightly. On Sunday, February 2, La Coquina will host an Anniversary Encore Sunday Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This one-time return of an award-winning classic will feature such items as a seafood bar, rack of lamb, roasted Dover sole, and trad-ional eggs Benedict.
