The holidays in Orlando will officially kick-off this weekend thanks to these two festive events:
Festival of Trees: Shake, Glitter & Stroll
Friday, November 22
7pm -11pm
$40 per person
This 1950s-themed party amidst the dozens of spectacularly decorated Christmas trees through Orlando Museum of Art will be the perfect way to launch you into the next six weeks of holiday happenings. If you like, come dressed in 50s attire while you nibble catered appetizers and sip beer/wine from the cash bar.
Jingle Eve
Saturday, November 23
6pm – 11pm
This annual holiday tradition invites revelers to Ivanhoe Village for shopping, dining and wine strolling to 12 different stops (i.e. filling stations!). Expect a beer garden, live entertainment, food trucks, street vendors, strolling carolers, a boat parade on Lake Ivanhoe, and a visit from St. Nick himself. Ticket sales for the wine stroll are limited, so it is highly recommended to buy them in advance. Advance tickets are $10, day of event tickets are $15. Go here to buy now.
