Orlando’s premiere vegan restaurant, Ethos Vegan Kitchen, opened its Winter Park doors in December 2007 and has been a date-night location of choice ever since.  Enjoy sizzling garlic knots and a glass of cool rosé while admiring Ethos’s stunning art collection. Then, indulge in a slice of their beloved (meatless) meatloaf or a helping of goey five-layer lasagna.

End with a sensual, silky-smooth chocolate mousse laced with amaretto for a vegan Valentine’s done right.

V’s Diner

Take your date somewhere decades past at V’s Diner, a 50s-themed electric blue all-vegan diner in Casselberry. Enjoy American classics like burgers, cheesesteaks, and animal-style fries against the backdrop of groovy tunes and a fun atmosphere unlike any other.

Beat the dinner rush with a calming plant-forward afternoon tea at organic vegetarian cafe, InfusionTea. Their afternoon tea menu (which can be made vegan and gluten-free) comes with a pot of steaming tea of your choosing served with a 3-tier tray of their finest pastries: scones with cream and jam, fresh baked cookies and bread, and three types of tea sandwiches. InfusionTea offers some eighty-odd tea varieties.

Kres Chophouse

17 W Church St, Orlando, FL

Critically acclaimed by meat lovers, you may be surprised to hear that Kres Chophouse in Downtown Orlando is a vegan favorite serving a romantic three-course plant-based menu all week long with a special ‘vegan night’ with even more options on Saturdays.

Enjoy the likes of “Oyster” Rockefeller, Vegan “Beef” Wellington, Hearts of Palm “Lobster,” and even a Strawberry Ice Cream sundae. Kres’ wine list also includes notations for vegan wines.

Charley’s Steakhouse

The internet lost its mind when the news came out that Orlando’s location of Charley’s Steakhouse would serve a first-of-its-kind vegan steak, the $60 “F U Filet Mignon.” Sourced by plant-based steak company, Chunk, this self-described “freaking unbelievable” vegan steak is a must-try for any plant-curious foodies out there. Selam Ethiopian & Etrian Cuisine

The Garlic

Your romantic plant-based dinner date begins with freshly baked bread with roasted garlic along with a hand-written daily noodle (yes, a literal noodle) with the days specials written right on it.

Then enjoy a pasta pomodoro (hold the cheese) with a wonderful red wine. 

Norwood’s Eatery and Bar Treehouse

Eat in a real-life treehouse (with a bar in it!) just across the street from The Garlic in New Smyrna Beach. Dine on rotating vegan offerings such as vegan Coconut Curry with rice noodles or locally sourced Mushroom Ragout with blistered tomatoes and cashew sour cream while enjoying live music near the beach.
