FYI, API (as the tournament is often called) is part of the “Florida Swing” of the PGA’s schedule. This 2025 line-up includes The Cognizant Classic in Palm Beach Gardens (February 24-March 2), Arnold Palmer Invitational (March 3-9), The Players Championship (March 10-16) and Valspar Championship (March 17-13).

Gourmet Food & Specialty Cocktails

The Arnold Palmer Invitational features an array of gourmet food trucks and exclusive hospitality areas serving up an impressive selection of culinary delights. Couples can enjoy everything from upscale seafood dishes to savory barbecue. Among the most popular spots is the Foodies & Fairways section, located near the main entrance off hole 18.

In addition to the tasty fare, the tournament is known for its craft cocktails. Signature drinks, including the classic Arnold Palmer (a refreshing blend of iced tea and lemonade, often with a spirited twist), are a must-try.

Other specialty cocktails and premium wine selections make for a relaxing and indulgent experience. There’s nothing like sipping a cold drink with your partner while toasting some of the world’s top athletes. Bushmills Irish Whiskey Bar, for example, is a go-to stand for a drink. It’s located in the shady Fan Village area, by the 9th hole fairway.

Mastercard holders should plan to stop by The Mastercard Palmer Patio, an exclusive spectator venue located on the 14th green. Here you can enjoy great views, a bit of air conditioning, and complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages, with full bar service available for purchase.
