Boat Drinks
56 St. George St., St. Augustine | (904) 274-0094
The Boat Drinks crew understands that sometimes you need a drink to get you through the holidays. This fun bar goes all out with its “Sunburnt Santa” celebration, running from November 22, 2024 – January 4, 2025, featuring special edition holiday beverages. Rumor has it that the guy in the big red suit likes “Cookies for Santa,” a sweet taste of rye whiskey, amaretto cookie, lemon and mint.
His Misses may prefer “Ms. Claus Got Her Groove Back,” a vodka concoction with mango White Claw, lime, cranberry and Curacao. Rudolph likely gravitates to the “Fruitcake Old Fashioned,” a mix of apple brandy, Agricole Rhum, black cherry, vanilla, candied citrus, and winter spices.
Whereas the elves could toss back the “North Pole Vice,” featuring candy cane-infused frozen mojito with pina colada flare.
Catch 27
40 Charlotte St., St. Augustine | (904) 217-3542
If you’re more fruit cake than peppermint patty, know that you can stick to your preferred flavor profile while still toasting the town with holiday spirit. It may be called the Lonely Hearts Club, but we promise that this is a great cocktail companion. It is Chawar agave spirit, Salers Aperitif, sliced strawberry, and peppercorn cordial… creating a delicate red and green presentation but with lighter flavor notes.
Chatsworth Publick House
10 Marine St., St. Augustine | (904) 615-1815
Move over Christmas cookies… Chatsworth famously tops some of its cocktails with donuts! For the holidays, the bar menu will highlight seasonal martinis, including a Peppermint Martini and Salted Caramel Martini. Plus, ideal for a nightcap following a St. Augustine Nights of Lights tour, Chatsworth is a go-to for Bailey’s and coffee.
You can even indulge in an afternoon tea during the holidays!
Columbia Restaurant
98 St. George St., St. Augustine | (904) 824-3341
Columbia Restaurant, Florida’s oldest dining establishment dating back to 1905, is praised for its house-made sangria. And while a glass or pitcher of Tinto (red) or Blanco (white) sangria may remain your go-to when dining at Columbia, branch out to try the Jalisco Winter.
Ice Plant Bar
110 Riberia St., St. Augustine | (904) 829-6553
To sip on a drink that’s the exact same shade of green as The Grinch, order the La Reina Del Pacifico at Ice Plant Bar. This drink combines tequila, mint, basil, arugula, snap pea, wasabi, fresh lemon juice and black pepper.
Llama Restaurant
415 Anastasia Blvd., St. St. Augustine | (904) 819-1760
Mimosas are often associated with brunch but Llama Restaurant understands that mimosas pair well with any meal, including dinner.
During the holiday season, Llama will continue to offer its standard mimosa list featuring five unique champagne and juice blends. Additionally, it’ll introduce a passionfruit and lavender mimosa with edible glitter in honor of the glitzy glow associated with St. Augustine Nights of Lights.
Prohibition Kitchen
119 St. George St., Saint Augustine | (904) 209-5704
“Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas day…” If this Bing Crosby song gets stuck in your head too, clear your thoughts with a Hawaiian lei inspired Christmas cocktail called Hibiscus Spritz. It’s made with elderflower, sparkling wine, lemon, simple syrup, mint and, of course, hibiscus.
You can also warm up on a rare chilly night in St. Augustine with a Classic Hot Chocolate.
San Sebastian Winery
157 King St., St. Augustine | (904) 826-1594
To drink up St. Augustine’s dazzling holiday light display and more, head to The Cellar Upstairs Bar at San Sebastian Winery. As you tune into eclectic live music, appreciate the flavorful notes of a Hot Mulled Wine. It features the full-fruit flavor of San Sebastian’s Vintners Red, balanced with mulling spices of cinnamon, cloves and orange peel.
The Tipsy Duck Parlor
58 Hypolita Street (side door entrance)
Taking social media by storm, The Tipsy Duck Parlor is adorable. This tiny bar is full of cuteness and character thanks to its rubber ducky theme. You see, this little drinking spot is part of The Bath Junkie store in St. Augustine. During the holiday season, the precious rubber ducky theme is paired with festive decorations, and jolly drinks. Hours 12:30pm – 9:30pm daily.
Tini Martini Bar
24 Avenida Menendez, St. Augustine | (904) 829-0928
Located within the Casablanca Inn, step into an adorably decorated space complete with a Christmas tree, stockings, a (big) Little Drummer Boy, and, as a nod to The Christmas Story movie, a leg lamp!
This place can make any kind of martini, in addition to signature cocktails and wines. Since we won’t have a White Christmas here in St. Augustine, channel that wonderful winter feeling with a White Chocolate Espresso, made with Van Gogh Expresso vodka, white creme de cocoa, and Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur.
