This nighttime egg hunt for adults features thousands of eggs not filled with candy, but tickets for prizes including $250 cash, gift cards and gift baskets to your favorite Sanford businesses, restaurants and bars. All proceeds go to the Sanford Historical Society for the direct benefit of the Sanford Museum.

Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive: Love nature? Hop in the car and take your time driving along the 11-mile Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. This one-way drive through a stunning habitat is a haven for birds and other Florida wildlife, including alligators. The Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive entrance gate is open for vehicular traffic between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and federal holidays.
