As Hurricane Milton approaches the Orlando area most attractions are closed, or will be closing later today. Here is what will be closed in Orlando due to Hurricane Milton. We encourage our readers to monitor the latest reports.

Hurricane Milton Orlando Closures
Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens – Closed
The Central Florida Zoo will be closed on Tuesday, October 8 until further notice.
Disney World Theme Parks – Closed
Walt Disney World Resort will be closed in the following timeframes.
Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios will close at 1pm on Wednesday 10/9. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney Springs will close at 2pm on Wednesday 10/9.
All theme parks and Disney Springs will remain closed on Thursday 10/10.
Select Disney Resorts – Closed
Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, and the Treehouse Villas, and the Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will close beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon – Closed
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will be closed on Wednesday, October 9.
(Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed for the season).
Disney Springs – Closed
Disney Springs will close at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday 10/9 and will remain closed on Thursday.
SeaWorld Orlando Parks – Closed
SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica, and Discovery Cove will all be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, October 9 and 10, 2024. They will post any additional info on their Instagram.
Universal Orlando – Closed
All Universal Orlando theme parks and CityWalk will be closing at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday 10/9 and remain closed on Thursday.
Universal Volcano Bay will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, 10/9 and 10/10 View Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations™ Severe Weather Policy.

Wekiva Island – Wekiva Island will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and Thursday, Oct. 10, due to Hurricane Milton.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex – Closed
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be closed Wednesday 10/9 and Thursday, 10/10.
Orlando SunRail Service – Closed
The SunRail service will suspend operations on Tuesday, October 8 and will remain closed on Wednesday, October 9.
Orlando International Airport – Closed
Commercial Operations will close on the morning of Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Check with your airline for updates in regards to your flight. For airport status: nasstatus.faa.gov
Orlando Sanford Airport – Closed
The Orlando Sanford Airport – new announcements: Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) will cease commercial operations starting Wednesday 10/09/2024 at 8 a.m. due to Hurricane Milton.
Important note – Please exercise caution! Roadways will have debris and other dangerous conditions. If a road appears to be flooded, turn around. Do not touch any downed power lines. Please be extra safe out there.
