The Florida Film Festival (FFF), an esteemed Oscar-accredited festival, is thrilled to announce its program lineup for the highly anticipated 2024 season. Renowned actor and comedian John Cleese, along with the talented actress Natasha Lyonne, will grace the event as distinguished celebrity guests, adding to the festival's allure and prestige!
The excitement doesn't end there, as the opening night will feature the captivating film “Rachel
Hendrix,” starring Lori Singer and directed by Victor Nunez, a distinguished alumnus of the Florida Film Festival. Nunez's work promises to set the tone for an unforgettable cinematic journey throughout the festival.
On Wednesday, March 20, 2024 the Florida Film Festival team unveiled this year’s theme: “A Road Trip for Yer Mind.” This year FFF takes place across ten days: April 12 – 21, 2024 at Enzian Theater and Regal
Cinemas, Winter Park Village.

For 2024, the Florida Film Festival received an overwhelming response with a staggering 2,811 submissions pouring in from 101 countries worldwide. From this impressive pool, 171 exceptional films
have been selected, comprising 48 features and 123 shorts, representing a diverse array of talent from
41 different countries.

Of the selected films, 145 will make their Florida premiere at FFF, including 27 World Premieres, 3 North
American Premieres, and 3 US Premieres, underscoring FFF's commitment to showcasing fresh and
innovative cinema. Furthermore, 38 films will celebrate their East Coast debut, 49 their Southeast debut, and 25 their Florida debut.
With a strong emphasis on local talent, 32 films in the lineup boast a Florida connection, showcasing the rich tapestry of filmmaking talent within the state. 37 films selected for the festival hail from FFF alumni, highlighting the festival's role in nurturing and promoting emerging filmmakers.
